A little back history on Palace Station, originally opened in 1976 as the Casino then in 1977 Bingo Palace. After getting a free night via Stations Casinos I decided why not try Palace Station since that’s where station casinos first started. I asked what was the difference in the rooms and the lady informed me the Original room was a standard Queen on the 2nd floor or for $30 I was offer a Queen Studio. Upon arriving at 10am on I was greeted by a nice lady who informed me there will be a $25 early checkin or $30 for a updated room and waive the early checkin fee. I always wanted to stay at Palace station and I finally got the opportunity thanks to a free night via station casinos. A re-grand opening happened on September 1, 2018. Jump to 2016 is when station casinos did a huge renovation project where they expanded the casino, added a new bingo hall to the property, torn down the old motel (courtyard) rooms in favor for a proposed new hotel tower and expended pool area. In 1990 a 21 story hotel tower was added.
In 1985 is when Palace Station bought the adjoining 465 room motel.
In 1984 Bingo Palace renovated and expanded into a railroad theme with a new name called Palace Station.
